We should not forget the fact that Rema’s song Iron man was the only song by Nigerian artiste that made Obama’s playlist last year.

In Nigeria’s music industry, Mayorkun and Rema’s both have Headies Next Rated to their awards collections.

Just last year, Mayorkun won two Headies Awards, Best Hip Hop World Revelation and Best Rnb/Pop Album for his “The Mayor Of Lagos Album”.

From the present wave Rema is pushing on, he might just hit an international award win which will surpass all Mayorkun’s Headies collection.

Apart from the fact Mayorkun has managed to headline his own concert in Nigeria, it is unarguable that Rema pulls crowd and has what it takes to make crowd go Gaga more than all Mayorkun could ever do.

No doubt, Mayorkun is putting in a lot of work to remain solidly relevant in the music industry to the point that he had to jump on the “Set Awon” trend in his song “Geng”.

Kudos to Mayorkun but going by number of streams and international recognition, Rema is way bigger than him or what do you guys think?
