Forest are 16th in the standings but just three points above Leeds United in the drop zone. Meanwhile, Arsenal are hanging on to their league title hopes by a thread, as they trail first-place Manchester City by four points. A loss by the Gunners or a win by City over the rest of the season would seal the title for Pep Guardiola’s side, making the race as good as over.

That doesn’t mean Arsenal, who are assured of finishing second and playing Champions League football next season, are packing it in over the final two matches — Mikel Arteta wants to use the disappointment of letting the title slip out of their hands to build towards the future.
