• CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF IN BRIEF SIR ?

I am AJEWOLE LAWRENCE SHOLANKE
I’m a native of IJEBU REMO ( SAGAMU TO BE PRECISE) OGUN STATE. And I’m born talented in Entertainment, specifically Film Making Production… Also, a Business man. I started my Career in the year 2008 under the leadership of AGBEJA LOKUN FILMS PRODUCTION in SAGAMU before I proceeded to ABEOKUTA and later joined HAMMED ALAASARI ISHOLA DUROJAYE in 2010 before he passed on in the year 2011. May his soul continue to rest in peace.

• WHY CHOOSE FILM MAKING/ACTING AS A PROFESSION ?

Film Making is my world. Carl Sandburg says and I quote “Nothing happens unless first a dream”. Acting has been my dream since my Childhood and I’m so passionate about this till now and ever more.
Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart and whoever looks outside, DREAMS. But he who looks inside, AWAKENS…
Hence, my pursuit!

• WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES SO FAR ?

Challenges are bound to happen and problems are only opportunities with thorns on them… But, how to tackle actually defines a man and this has been my driving force so far.
Life is truly full of ups and downs, everything has pros and cons. Even we all have our differences as humans, ability to put up makes us stronger and better and this is also applicable to every other sectors.
Challenges never destroy, rather mould a man into a better shape; a better version of oneself.
I’ve faced a lot since I was a beginner, even till now… But ALIHAMDULLILAH, I’m not there yet, but I’m moving.

• TELL US BRIEFLY ON YOUR OWN OPINION ON THE PRESENT GOVERNMENT ?

I believe in one God and no more. I hope for happiness beyond this life.
I pray HE never deserts us and makes it happen for us exceedingly INSHAA ALLAH!

• WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS THIS YEAR/WHAT SHOULD YOUR FANS EXPECT THIS YEAR..?

I have many plans, proposals ahead and I pray they shall be executed with no hindrances by L’AGBARA OLORUN 🙏
The reward for work well done is the opportunity to do more, you know?
We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give… My fans should be expecting much more from my stable by HIS Grace.
For mouth watering, I will be starting a project in this Month titled “OBIRI” amongst others.

• THE BEST MOVIE YOU HAVE ACTED IN SO FAR ?

I love what I’m doing and I was taught the right attitude towards work… So, I always give my best shot and being a versatile Actor, I INTERPRET, not demonstrate.
Without mincing words, every Movies I have acted in so far, are my best … And many many more into my archives by GOD’S GRACE 🙏

• THINGS YOU DO OUTSIDE YOUR PROFESSION ?

I’m a Business Administrator; a gentle Business man at that… I’m into Plank business, Filming Equipments, also a Realtor; I buy and resell lands.

• MARRIED ?

No, I’m not married… But, I have two Lovely and Adorable kids (the Lawrences) with a woman.

• YOUR HOBBIES ?

I love jotting down my stories at my leisure time and I love inspirational Music; the sensation in a serene environment… I’m also a great Chef, I can cook oooo…

• YOUR ADVICE FOR THOSE ASPIRING TO GO INTO ACTING ?

No person has the right to rain on your dreams… Ensure you be focused and always remember you have within you the strength, the patience, the tolerance and the passion; your watchword to reach for the Stars to change the world.
If you lose focus, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps you moving, you lose that courage to be, that quality that helps you go on inspite of it all.
And come what may, what will be, will surely be and God’s time is the best; therein lies HIS blessings…
