Exclusive: Wizkid is stupid for criticizing President Buhari – Singer Blackface says (video)

Veteran Nigerian singer Blackface, of the defunct Plantashun Boiz music group, recently revealed some interesting things during an exclusive interview with ofofoloaded 

– The singer slammed top star Wizkid for criticising President Buhari and called him stupid for that

– Blackface also praised Buhari’s efforts as president and said insurgence reduced during his time in government

The Nigerian entertainment industry no doubt has its veterans and some have even been able to maintain relevance for one reason or the other till date.

Just recently, veteran Nigerian singer, Blackface, revealed some interesting details during an exclusive interview with ofofoloaded .

While speaking with our correspondent, Abisola Alawode, Blackface touched on some issues including his unending beef with 2baba, his reason behind recently calling out Wizkid on social media and also how President Buhari has helped improve the state of things in Nigeria.

Blackface had recently called out Wizkid on social media after the Ojuelegba star criticised President Buhari of Nigeria and Donald Trump of USA.

According to Blackface, Wizkid was stupid for his statements against Buhari and despite everybody having civil rights, nobody has the right to be stupid.

He said: “Everybody has their civil rights but you don’t have the right to be stupid. You don’t have the right to be stupid and promote your stupidity to everybody because you have a platform.”

Explaining further, Blackface wondered why anybody in their right senses would describe Nigeria’s president as being clueless. He then went ahead to list some of the things in his opinion that makes Buhari a good leader.

He said: “How can somebody in their right senses say that President Muhammadu Buhari is clueless? We just passed Egbeda and they are commissioning the BRT, they’re fixing roads, they are fixing things that didn’t used to be before.”

Blackface went ahead to say that Nigeria’s past leaders are the problem and not President Buhari.

The singer was then asked if things under Buhari have improved compared to the tenure of past leaders. He replied that things are going to get better.

He said: “Things are going to get better but you don’t expect something that has been spoilt for so long to become good all of a sudden. It takes time.”

Blackface added that Buhari has reduced the problem of insurgency in Nigeria.

“Remember when we were having the problem of insurgence in Nigeria, but the moment Buhari came, it started reducing abi? Didn’t it reduce?” he said.

Just recently, Ofofoloaded.com.ng reported that Wizkid, in a post shared on his verified Twitter page, decried the rate of police brutality being perpetrated in Nigeria and the US.

The singer submitted that no man alive can solve the issue of violence by police officers. He said only God can salvage the situation.
