Burna Boy Blocks Twitter User Who Reminded Him Of An Old Tweet About Digital Streaming

Afro-pop star, Burna Boy has shown a lady no sentiments as he blocked her after reminding him of a 2019 tweet.

Burna took to the microblogging site to brag about how he achieved over 100 million streams across different digital platforms.

Moreover, about how his latest song with Ed Sheeran is doing well in the United Kingdom.

Reacting to the tweet, a web user, Enitodun shared a screenshot of a tweet from Burna Boy in 2019 where he stated that streaming numbers do not reflect a singer’s “true worth or talent” and “no one should get carried away by them.”

His words:

“This streaming … be making people feel like they are actually talented. If joke things like “Baby Shark” and “Gangnam Style” can do more number than everyone, don’t think you are talented or respected because of your streaming numbers.

“Everyone, with real working brains knows what a joke is and what is real. Anyway, plenty talk no dey full basket. Let time reveal all,” 

However, the self-acclaimed African Giant wasted no time in blocking her shortly after seeing the tweet but she seemed unperturbed about it.

It didn’t take long before another Twitter user identified as @Enitodun took to the platform to remind him of his old tweet in which he claimed having high digital streaming doesn’t necessarily mean an artiste is talented. He, however, wasted no time in blocking her on the micro-blogging platform. See screenshot below:
