• CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF IN BRIEF SIR ?

My name is Micheal Oluwafemi Obimodede, a father, actor, production manager cum movie producer.

• TELL US SHORTLY HOW YOU START YOUR PROFESSION AS AN ACTOR ?

The journey to the make believe world started in the early 2000. I enrolled under Akinwunmi Tajudeen popularly known as Bankefa. I proceeded to learn under Wale Ilebiyi after having a stint with Bamkefa. My hunger for greatness make me have lot of bosses cum mentors whom I learn one or two arts of filmmaking from.

• WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES SO FAR ?

Life itself is challenging. The country is challenging. The challenges are too numerous to mention but as a filmmaker the obvious challenge is Government intervention. We need their intervention through legislation to halt the activities of pirates and invest in the sector. We can’t produce great movies with peasant capital.

• TELL US BRIEFLY ON YOUR OWN OPINION ON THE INCOMING PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. ( Can we know your choice of candidate and party ) ?

Nothing more is expected from our crops of politicians. They are all the same. We’re just recycling same old by changing its bottles.
So, I have no choice of candidate but hoping on God to lead whoever emerge to do it right.

• WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS THIS YEAR/WHAT SHOULD YOUR FANS EXPECT THIS YEAR..?

I have a story I want to produce before the years runs out and I hope it will skyrocket my career not just as an actor but as a movie producer. Though the budget is huge but God will lead our way.

• THINGS YOU DO OUTSIDE YOUR PROFESSION ?

Nothing but filmmaking. It’s either I’m acting, managing production or producing. Those are my three legs.

• YOUR HOBBIES ?

Watching movies, cooking and listening to gospel music.

• YOUR ADVICE FOR THOSE ASPIRING TO GO INTO ACTING ?

To those aspiring to go into acting, have a plan and walk your plan. It won’t be easy but it worth the stress.
