Nigerian afrobeat maestro, Wizkid has set himself up for drags on social media for making a huge promise he couldn’t keep.

A year ago, the ‘Made In Lagos’ hitmaker took to the micro-blogging platform to announce his plan to tie the knot with his heartthrob this year, 2020.

Though he did not mention which of the 4 women he is involved with would be the ‘Mrs. Balogun’, the tweet blew up on social media as fans and celebrities congratulated the singer for making that giant step.

Well, we are in the closing stages of the year 2020 and the singer is still single with no sign of getting married soon. A Twitter user who has been keeping tabs on the Wizkid’s married life reacted to the old tweet, calling him out for lying to his fans.
