“Time and Chance” – indigenous rapper, Olamide hints on how Fireboy DML rose to fame

Nigerian indigenous rapper and label owner, Olamide, has revealed that his YBNL signee, Fireboy DML became successful because of “time and chance”.

In what could pass for a loose translation, the singer meant that Fireboy made it to the hall of fame because the singer sacrificed his “time” for great music while he, as his label boss, gave him the “chance” and platform to excel by selling himself out.

The Yoruba rapper made this known on his official page on Saturday, April 18, 2020, in a photo of himself and Fireboy which he shared on the platform.

Taking to the photo and video sharing app, Instagram, Olamidewrote:

“Time and Chance (Ecc 9:11)”
