Thanks for choosing to read this open letter we wrote to rave of the moment Abass Akandepopularly known as Obesere.

Obesere became an Internet sensation recently after his year 2000 (20 years ago) hit song “Egungun Becareful” went viral after been used to caution individuals of staying out of trouble.

Ever since he broke out, a whole lot of hip-hop artistes have been flocking around him, seen in studios with him and already doing songs with him ?

So quick?

What Might Happen To Obesere?

We hope he enjoys the moment, get enough shows and make so much money.

… but should avoid being used by these greedy hip-hop artistes who don’t care about him.

Where’s Duncan Mighty?

Ask yourself this question and be sincere with your answer.

Nobody cares about him again but remember how almost every top Artistes featured him on their songs in 2018 after Wizkid brought him out with their then hit song “Fake Love“.

The likes of Tiwa Savage, DJ Xclusive, Lil Kesh, Davido, Peruzzi, Yemi Alade, Phyno, Ortise Femi, MC Galaxy, and many others worked with him when he was seriously popping.

They Are Already Jumping At Obesere – Wake Up Sir

At the moment, Skiibii and Zlatan are already recording a song with Obesere and other numerous artistes are also pulling their strings just to work with him.

This should be a wake up call to our legendary Fuji act Abass Akande Obesere – Don’t let them use you sir.
