“My Mother Died When Things Were Becoming Good”- Nengi Shares Emotional Story

It turned out to be an emotional moment, when 2020 Big Brother Naija finalist, Rebecca Nengi Hampson, broke down while sharing some private life matters with the Punch in an interview.

Nengi revealed that her father was not there for her while growing up and her mum was the only one who struggled to take care of her.

According to the 22-year-old former beauty queen, her mum passed on when life was becoming more easier for them.

“My dad was never really there. I can count the number of times I saw him. So I grew up with my mother and she was the only one I knew. She struggled to take care of me but the love between us is deep.

Even when we didn’t have anything, I was always happy. We would be in our house and manage our lives. However, she died when things were becoming good” she said sadly.
