Nigerian singer Omah has shared his bitter experience when he was arrested and locked up in Uganda after he flouted the COVID-19 rules.
Recall that the singer was arrested a few days ago after he flouting the COVID-19 protocols while performing on Saturday night at a concert held at Speke Resort. He was arrested with the venue manager and his colleague Tems after some local artists reported them to the Ugandan Police.
In a post sighted on his Twitter page, Omah Lay recounted his bitter experience in Uganda and how he was treated like a criminal. He tweeted, “The past few days have been some of the toughest of my life that I wouldn’t wish them on anyone. Out in a new country with some beautiful people, the next thing I’m being treated like a common thief”
