“Don’t Distract Us” – DJ Cuppy Under fire After Posting This Amidst SARS Protest (See Reactions)

Nigerian Disc Jockey Dj Cuppy has come under backlash on social media after she was accused of trying to dissuade attention from the SARS protest.

Dj Cuppy took to her Twitter page to cheer her club on which made her fans see it to be an insensitive tweet in the middle of the #EndSars protest. Nigerians asked her to lend her voice to the ongoing protest and put her club on the hold for some time.

Her Tweet read: We need to win …Let’s go!!!!!
