“Buhari Is Not Alaafin Of Oyo” – Nigerian Man Blasts Twitter User Who Labelled Wizkid’s Actions As An Insult To Yoruba Culture

On Sunday, October 4, Nigeria woke up to a trending menace which was also buzzing on all social media platforms.

As all concerned citizens weighed in on the gruesome issue, Nigerian musician, Wizkid called out the President of Nigeria for turning a blind eye to his countries immediate plights and focusing on other countries’.

This came from President Buhari wishing President Donald Trump and his wife a speedy recovery after contracting the coronavirus. As many Nigerians sided with the famous musician for his actions on the President, other people slammed him for being disrespectful towards the president.

Today, a Twitter user identified as FIASCO fired back at a Twitter user who claimed Wizkid using the words “old man” on the President is an insult to his Yoruba culture.

According to FIASCO, Buhari is not Alaafin or Oyo or Oba of Ile Ife. He is being paid to serve the country so Nigerians can express their frustration if he is not doing his job well.
