Laycon & Erica Story 

I remember the first week when biggie played Laycon’s song and the beginning of a budding friendship between a super talented artist, Laycon and a super lover of the arts, Erica. Erica was Laycon’s Cheerleader.Their friendship was genuine and priceless.They were almost Besties.

As almost the case when two people starts getting super close , Laycon developed feelings and expressed it to Erica . However , Kidd was already in the picture and Erica unfortunately didn’t feel the same way. Laycon’s Ego was hurt.

Laycon’s Ego was hurt not just because Erica rejected him but the reason why she rejected him, His looks and physique.This is something he probably has been dealing with all his life. Perhaps, He doesn’t get the prettiest girls beacause they all want to friend-zone him.

Laycon’s friendship was first put to test when he started talking with the other housemates about his situation with Erica. The Narrative made Erica look like she was manipulative and deliberately playing with his emotions and he did nothing to correct it rather he fueled it.

Laycon didn’t have a problem with other housemates seeing Erica as a bad person , it helped his ego and “healing process “. It’s ok to be selfish sometimes, that’s a human thing. However that was betrayal of their friendship.The producers saw that and decided to poke the table.

Laycon never asked Erica why she “tried to kiss him “. He might have gotten some closure. He rather spread the gist and Ebuka had to call him out. Erica was deeply hurt that everyone else knew but herself ! If it was Trikytee, Prince or any other Male HM, It wouldn’t bother her.

Erica was hurt because she still believed in their friendship. Remember she still tried to find solace in Laycon when she was having issues with Kidd? She was disappointed and couldn’t wait to take it off her chest but alas she has 2 strikes.

She waited patiently for Laycon to talk about the issue but she got the silent treatment. A total abandonment. She tried to keep her cool all through the week but Gordon dry gin makes you forget the cameras are still rolling . Kidd and Nengi once again provoked her insecurities and she climaxed Emotionally.

Erica handled the situation very recklessly. She used some very hurtful words and nobody deserves to be treated that way .Laycon did well by not reacting brashly even though his reaction might have been different outside the house. He’s smart , don’t forget. He could get a strike from Big Brother.

There is no excuse for bad behavior but we must also remember that it’s a reality show that should show us reality. It’s a also a game so people should be calculative.

Erica has been disqualified for behaving badly but that would crush her so badly because she has been mental health.

Now let’s see the fate of Kiddwaya and Laycon.
