• TELL US SHORTLY HOW YOU START YOUR PROFESSION As A CINEMATOGRAPHER ?

I started film making since my university because i studied dramatic arts in university ( obafemi awolowo university) the love for film making started in my 100L when i saw my senior colleagues doing their film final year project which i latered came in as one of the crew ever since then i fell in love with film making ambience. Furthermore, i told my friend who is a comedian then on campus my love for video editing and we’ve been friend from home toyin bayegun popularly knows as (woli arole ) who helped by giving me to fiteg media who now gave more exposure to film industry and all…

• WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES SO FAR ?

Challenges as cinematographer and film maker is mainly producers don’t want to pay cinematographer big money for shooting film for them therefore as a cinematographer you must have mindset of doing your own projects to earn big..

• TELL US BRIEFLY ON YOUR OWN OPINION ON THE VIRUS OUTBREAK ( Covid-19 ) – And How you Have Been Coping ?

Honestly, the outbreak not helping anyone at all. I have pinned down projects and works till further notice and i keep spending daily which i hope federal government would help us but am not expect anything from them due to their selfishness..

• WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS THIS YEAR/WHAT SHOULD YOUR FANS EXPECT THIS YEAR..?

My fans should expect a lot of projects .. Eg: documentary, music video and film …
I have started throwing my documentary out this year but I have to stop due to corona virus but my music video have been done but still in the studio for post production…

• THINGS YOU DO OUTSIDE YOUR PROFESSION ?

For now NO but i have love for some businesses but due to film making i have no time to do them now..

• YOUR HOBBIES ?

Football, reading and going out..

• YOUR ADVICE FOR THOSE ASPIRING TO GO INTO CINEMATOGRAPHY ?

Come with mindset of doing your own project not always expecting people to call you to shoot for them because is by doing project that you can go far and even have huge money…
