Dee One Calls Out VeryDarkMan Over ₦100M Donation from Don Jazzy for NGO

Nigerian comedian Dee One has sparked controversy after publicly criticizing social media activist VeryDarkMan for allegedly receiving a whopping ₦100 million donation from Don Jazzy for his NGO. The heated exchange unfolded on social media, with Dee One expressing his displeasure over what he perceives as favoritism and questioning the authenticity of VeryDarkMan’s intentions with the donation.

In a viral post, Dee One accused VeryDarkMan of using his platform to gain sympathy and financial support from influential figures like Don Jazzy. He implied that the funds might not be used for the intended charitable cause and that there are other deserving individuals who could have benefited from such generosity.

Dee One’s comments quickly drew mixed reactions from the public. While some fans sided with the comedian, suggesting transparency is necessary when it comes to large donations, others defended VeryDarkMan, praising him for his activism and dedication to helping communities through his NGO.

The situation has since sparked a broader conversation about celebrity donations, the responsibilities of influencers, and the transparency of charitable organizations.

Neither Don Jazzy nor VeryDarkMan has responded directly to Dee One’s allegations, leaving fans curious about how this developing story will unfold.

“I am disappointed in Don Jazzy, don collect money from the same Don Jazzy. So that means Don Jazzy is a good person. He does not look at whether the receiver is an evil person or not.

“Because when Don Jazzy gave Bobrisky money, VeryDarkMan came outside to say he was disappointed in Don Jazzy for supporting Bobrisky.

“Don Jazzy is also a very petty person. He didn’t say anything at the time, he probably thought it was poverty speaking. When VeryDarkMan needed money for his NGO, he now gave him N100 million.

“VeryDarkMan had to announce it himself. This is a very good lesson to everyone including me that it is not a must to talk about everything. Because that same money that was given to Bobrisky that you said was bad, is now good after given to you. You don’t have to talk about everything.”
