Lagos Police Confirm Shooting of TikToker Oloba Salo in Lekki
The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the shooting of TikTok star Ojesanmi Afeez, popularly known as Oloba Salo, in the Lekki area of Lagos. The incident, which took place at a filling station, was brought to public attention by his friend and fellow TikToker, Tunde Perry, on Thursday.
According to Perry, Oloba Salo is currently fighting for his life at Perez Medcare Hospital, Lekki Phase 2, after being shot in the leg by gunmen who also stole his gold chain. Perry expressed his concern, saying, “They have shot Salo in the leg. They have also stolen his gold chain. Some boys just rushed him to the hospital, and I have gone there now.”
In response to the incident, Lagos Police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin praised Evercare Hospital in Lekki for quickly accepting and treating the gunshot victim. He also urged other hospitals not to turn away gunshot victims, emphasizing the importance of immediate medical attention in such cases
